power, water, or sewer services. You won't have to live without hookups
initially, but you will be forced to do without them sometime in the next few
decades.
Most of the country's
groundwater is already contaminated, and once sewage systems and dumps are
abandoned, it will ALL become contaminated. Without power to pump or
chlorine to disinfect groundwater, you really have no option except to rely on
rain catchment for drinking water.
#3. In order to survive, you are going to need a
large garden. An oversized garden would allow you to exchange your extra
produce to your neighbors for hard goods -- like ammunition.
#4. Remember that you will not be able to rely on
complex technology, because once supply lines break down, you won't be able to
get spares. So limit yourself to technology that you can fix with a
hammer and forge. (If you don't know what a "forge" is, go see an old
cowboy movie.)
Beyond these four points,
just try to fit in with your community as best you can. Perhaps join a
church, lodge, or club -- find someone who is willing to help you in case you
are attacked.

securitization. Because they were left out of Basle I banks need not set aside
any capital to cover potential losses.
The elegance
of securitization of loans such as home mortgages for the issuing bank was that
they could take the loan or mortgage and immediately sell it on to a
securitizer or underwriter who bundled hundreds of such loans into a new Asset
Backed Security. This seemingly genial innovation was far more dangerous than
it sounded. Lending banks no longer needed to carry a mortgage loan on its
books for 20-30 years as was traditional. They sold it on at a discount and
used the cash to turn the next round of credit issuing.
That meant as well that the
lending bank now no longer had to worry if the loan would ever be repaid.

Enrico Toti was born at
Rome in 1882 to a prosperous family. As a young man he performed his military
service as an electrician in the Italian Royal Navy. But when he was 24 he lost
his left leg in a railroad accident. Determined to overcome his handicap, Toti
became a noted cyclist, horseman, and mountain climber, and an intrepid world
traveler, once crossing the desert in the Sudan on his bicycle.
When Italy entered World
War I, in 1915, Toti decided it was his patriotic duty to join the fight. It
took a while to convince the Italian Army that he was fit enough to serve. Meanwhile,
he kept turning up at the front at the damnedest places, often under fire. Eventually
the army gave in, and soon the 33-year old was serving as an officer in the 3rd
Bicycle Battalion of the elite Bersaglieri.
Toti proved an excellent
combat officer, leading troops into action with his crutch, and he soon he rose
to major. He was mortally wounded while trying to storm Hill 85, east of
Monfalcone, on August 6, 1916, during the Sixth Battle of the Isonzo. As he lay
dying, he was seen to hurl his crutch at the enemy.

der Untertanen nie so groß war wie jene der ungewählten Agenten unseres
künstlichen Superstaates über die Bürger ihres mit bürokratischer Macht
erschaffenen Reiches. Der demokratische Wohlfahrtsstaat ist vor diesem
Hintergrund nicht das Ende der Überlagerung und der daraus hervorgehenden
Ungerechtigkeit, er ist nur eine Form der Perfektionierung und Verbreiterung
von Überlagerungszuständen. Er ist eine Regierungsform der organisierten
Kapitalvernichtung, der prinzipiellen Missachtung ökonomischer Gesetze, der
Fehlanreize, des völligen Fehlens langfristigen Denkens, der
Meinungsmanipulation und der unbeschränkten Macht seiner Agenten. Er erweckt
die Illusion der Allmacht des Volkes und erzeugt nur höchste Ohnmacht des
Individuums.
Die ungewöhnlich große und heterogene Klasse der
Überlagerer steht vor dem Problem, dass früher oder später alle parasitären
Herrscher einholt: die Mittel sind aufgebraucht, und niemand will der
Überbringer der schlechten Nachricht sein. Niemand will zugeben, dass all die
Versprechungen, die zur Macht führten, mit Kapital bezahlt wurden, das nie
existierte und mittlerweile nicht einmal seine virtuelle Existenz noch
aufrechterhalten kann.
Der niemals angesparte Scheinwohlstand in Form
staatlicher Zahlungsverpflichtungen in Papierwährung, auf dem so viele ihre
Lebensplanung aufgebaut haben, ist in Wahrheit ein Kaiser ohne Kleider. Noch
übt man sich in Aktionismus und Optimismus, doch das sind nur Rückzugsgefechte.
In der kommenden Geldwertvernichtung werden die Menschen auf drastische Weise
den Unterschied zwischen Nominal- und Realwert, zwischen Scheinwohlstand und
Wirklichkeit kennenlernen.
